An expensive resort, not value for money. I will give this resort only 3 stars.
No wonder very few Malaysians stay there. When I was there, only seven Malay, my family and a young couple. The rest were all "Mat Salleh", a few Chinese.
They will charge per head, so beware if you bring along your children here.
I booked a Garden Villa (Deluxe ground floor facing a garden), a room for four.
The Italian lady reception manager noticed we were five persons. So, she asked me to pay an extra. RM500+ per person, with breakfast and extra bed included.
I didn't know the new nearby MIMPI Perhentian Hotel, otherwise I should have booked their Family Suite (RM 960 for six occupant per day)
The positive (+)
Very good location in a beautiful sandy Long Beach (Pasir Panjang).
Air conditioning and fan 24 hours, they have their own electric generator.
Beds were comfortable and clean.
Nice thick towels
Nice Bathrobes
Nice welcome drink
Eating while overlooking the sea
We can order a variety of drink, coffee, et cetera.
Friendly staff of Mahi-Mahi restaurant.
Personal safe box.
The Negative (-)
The door was faulty that we were trapped in the room. It was supposed to be fixed, before we checked in. The good thing was the maintenance guy was coming immediately to fix the door.
Also, the toilet cannot be flushed because the pump button was broken. Need to fill the water manually.
I suggest more variety of local foods are served during the breakfast buffet.
Small room for the price.
No TV.
No fridge.
No Hair dryer.
